Not much news to report today, however, you can take a look at the 2010 Indoor leaderboards for both girls and boys.

Some notables:
    - Ernie Skipper comes in at #5 for both the 55m dash (7.49, Dartmouth Relays) and the 55m Hurdles (9.02, Suburbans).
    - Dejana Harris also cracks the top 15 in the 55m Hurdles at #13 (9.6, League Meet 6D).
    - Lea Cure clocks in at #19 in the 1000m (3:12.41, Suburbans), followed by Anna Pickett at #24 (3:14.87, Suburbans).

Ernie Skipper ran 7.68 in the 55m dash and 9.02 in the 55m hurdles, earning 4th place finishes in both events. These 8 points placed Guilderland 9th in the team scoring.

Skipper also placed 11th in the 300 (45.88), while teammate Dejana Harris placed 16th (47.11). Amanda Foggia was 10th in the 600 (1:49.16), Lea Cure placed 11th in the 1000 (3:12.41) and was quickly followed by Anna Pickett in 3:14.87.

The boys ran only two athletes (Sam Segal and Joe Connell). Segal was 15th in the 300m (40.23), while Connell was 26th in the 600m (1:43.00). The boys did not place in the team scoring.

The Suburban Council Championships will be this weekend (1/31) at SUNY Albany! Come down to the meet to support your kids and your team!

Junior Dashawn Gates, now competing for Albany HS, placed 3rd in the 400 at the Yale Invitational (held 1/16 at Yale Univ) with a time of 50.79. Gates was just two tenths of a second off winner Matt Granata from Levittown and was the top Section II 400m runner in the meet. This is a great indoor time at such an early point in the year and although he is no longer running for Guilderland, we look forward to great things from him in the future.

Although League Meet #6D @ HVCC was a non-scoring meet, some good performances came from a few Guilderland athletes.
Highlights include:

55H - Dejana Harris wins (9.6)
300 - Lexi Fehervari wins (45.5)
Nico Turek wins the 300 (40.5) and the 600 (1:33.0)

There are no officially posted full results, if anyone would like to send some performances that they know I will try and compile a list of Guilderland performances from this meet.

Next the Dutch and Lady Dutch look forward to heading to the Suburban Council Championship on 1/31. It will be held at SUNY Albany's SEFCU Arena (formerly The RACC). Come show your support!
