Burns ('02) Opens Outdoor Season in Style (3/19) UAlbany All-American Gered Burns won the Miami Hurricane Invitational 800m run in an NCAA provisional time of 1:49.44. The time was also a meet record. This will be Gered's final collegiate track season. He will be seeking his first Outdoor All-American status. Results |

Dubois & Wager Rock Strong for Red Dragons (4/8) Seth Dubois and Justin Wager (both '06), freshmen at SUNY-Cortland, ran personal bests at the William & Mary Colonial Relays in Williamsburg, VA. Dubois went 14:41 for 5,000m, while Wager ran 1:57.00 for 800m. The second day of the meet, however, was snowed out. Results |

Boys Start 4-0 in Duals (4/22) The Boys track team has started off the season strong with four wins against Averill Park, Ballston Spa, Mohonasen, and Burnt Hills. Hudson Falls Invite is next on schedule. UPDATE: Boys are now 6-0. |
Drake ('89) Welcomes 5th Child! (4/26) Dieter Drake and wife Amy brought their fifth child into the world. Eowyn Margaret Drake was born on 4/26/07 and weighed in at 8 lbs. 5 oz! Both mother and child are home and doing well! Congrats! |
Dutch Shine @ Hudson Falls Meet (4/29) Liz Schwennker and Karley Giles took 2nd in the 400m and HJ respectively to lead the Lady Dutch to a 6th place team finish. BRD and Mark Domaracki won the 1600m and Pentathlon respectively to boost the Boys to 3rd/19 teams. There were numerous other top six finishers! Results |

Boys Sprint Medley Record Falls @ Colonie (5/7) Slingerland, Rhodes-Devey, Geisendorfer and Domaracki combined to win the SMR at the Colonie Relays over the weekend. Their time broke the old school record by .3 seconds. The Girls also fared well in 4x100, Pole Vault and Discus competition. Results and story via Schenectady Gazette |
Boys DMR Record Broken in Loucks Game Win! (5/11) In a week made for record breaking, the boys Distance Medley relay mark was bested on a Thursday night in White Plains, NY. This time Graves lead off with Geisendorfer, Domaracki, and a blazing 4:08 split for Rhodes-Devey! Up next are the Suburban Council Championships, 5/15 @ Colonie. Hurdles, Jumps Lead Lady Dutch at Suburbans (5/21) Katie Murdock was 2nd in the 110 HH and 4th in the 400 IH. On the jumps side of things, Taylor Murphy and Karley Giles go 2-3 in the HJ. Team finishes 6th/12. Results |

Drake Puts Down the Whistle for Good (5/29) Long-time Guilderland Coach, Bill Drake, "retired" to NC in 1994, but continued to coach at the Cannon School. Join us in congratulating Bill for his near 40 year coaching career! What makes the news more palatable is his replacement will be Russ Campbell ('86) formerly of MA! Congrats Russ! |
16 Year Old Boys 4x4 Record Falls (6/2) Domaracki wins 400m! BRD's 1:54 and 4:11 win. The shocker of the day was the Boys 4x4 that finished 2nd and qualified for States in a school record 3:21.13! Results |

Third is the Word in Federation Finals (6/9) A day after finishing 3rd in the State Div 1, Mark Domaracki places 3rd in the Federation 400m final!!! Brian Rhodes-Devey, in perhaps his last high school race on NY soil, also finishes 3rd place in the Federation 800m run in a time of 1:54. He graduates a State Division 1 Champion! Complete results |
